FLORENCE

A wide range of accommodations are available in Florence, 15 minutes away from Fiesole.  We recommend booking early as the end of May is a very busy period.

We have reserved rooms for our guests at the Hotel Balestri, located in the center of Florence, overlooking the Arno river.

Three types of rooms are available: Superior Room (€200/night), City View Room (€235/night) or River View Room (€265/night). Rates include a buffet breakfast and VAT, and exclude the hotel tax of €3/night per person.  Cancellations may be made penalty-free up to 48 hours prior to arrival.

To book, please email the Reservation Office by 30 March, referencing "Kerry & Fabio, Hotel Balestri" in the subject header.

Rooms are also available at centrally located B&Bs such as Floroom and Black5.

FIESOLE

Fiesole is a small town with limited hotel accommodations, which are often booked well in advance for the spring/summer months. The surrounding hills offer more rustic accommodations, immersed in green/olive groves.

We have reserved a limited number of rooms at the Pensione Bencistà, which offers accommodations below Fiesole's town square, in the context of olive groves with panoramic views over Florence.  To book these rooms (€80/night single occupancy; €150/night double occupancy), please contact the management by 25 March (info@bencista.com or +39 055 59163), referencing the Dalip-Niccoli wedding.

As we went to press, rooms were also available in and around Fiesole at Villa Miralunga (B&B), Il Salviatino (5 star) and Villa San Michele (5 star).

Airbnb also offers apartments for rent, both in the town center and in the surrounding hills. Given the winding country roads, it may be advisable to check estimated travel times using Google Maps.
